EATS (European Automotive Trim Suppliers)
On November 18th 2014, the European Automotive Trim Suppliers association (EATS) shall convene there bi-annual general assembly in Brussels in order to discuss progress on a VinylPlus funded project concerning the use of recycled PVC in the automotive sector. EATS last convened such a meeting in Rome on May 7th 2014, on the occasion of the Vinyl Sustainability Forum and participated actively in the forum. In addition to the VinylPlus funded project, EATS is also engaged in providing input to the automotive PVC value chain on the latest regulatory issues, such as REACH developments. EATS is a European association that that aims to represent and defend the interests of European suppliers of plastics sheets and foils for automotive interior trimming as well as to carry out scientific and economic studies relating to the common interest of the profession.
